This week I’m going to teach you Assisted Split Squats.

 

NEWSFLASH:  Split squats are for your glutes, NOT your thighs!

 

Most people feel split squats in their things instead of their butts because they’re doing them wrong…

The Assisted Split Squat is a great exercise to teach good Split Squat mechanics, provided it doesn’t cause pain – if it does, start with a more “corrective exercise-based” approach.

 

NOTE:  Before adding the exercise to YOUR program be sure to complete the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) In-Line Lunge assessment first.
